The Process

You’ll be guided through the 5 Touchstones: Decide, Release, Balance, Become, Be Present.
The Touchstones provide a structure and pace for how the different layers of energy — God, Soul, Mind, and Body — relate to one another and come into coherence in the process of falling asleep.
They support the Mind in holding space for the energetic processes occurring across these layers — processes that organize on their own when the Mind is aligned with the true purpose of sleep.

The Sleep Ritual is designed to offer you a new direction for your awareness.
People often notice less effort around trying to fall asleep — a shift that comes from TAoFA’s reverence for the function of sleep, the distinction between the Mind and Body, and a different understanding of the Mind’s role in the process.
As the ritual unfolds, the Mind begins to experience greater neutrality, solitude, and presence. From there, the Body starts to take over more naturally — introducing many to the experience of the Body falling asleep independently of the Mind’s guidance.
For the Mind, this can feel like a return to something more true and fundamental — both before and during sleep.
The state created by this tends to extend beyond the night, carrying into the day as a growing awareness of sleep as a 24-hour process.

The Sleep Ritual Protocol is informed by The Art of Falling Asleep (TAoFA) — a consciousness model that sees sleep as the central organizing event of life, and something we all participate in as part of a mutually coordinated process with something greater than ourselves.
Rather than approaching sleep, healing, personal growth, and spirituality as separate paths, TAoFA recognizes these all as expressions of how life force energy is shared between the Mind & Body.
Instead of just focusing on how to get sleep, this process is facilitated by restoring how the Body reacquires energy from the Mind, so that the Body sleeps with the capacity needed to connect to the frequency of sleep and be a part of something greater than itself. From here, physical, emotional, and spiritual restoration is a natural outcome.
This protocol gives you a direct way to experience a shift that starts with sleep, carries over into a much broader way of relating to yourself and your life.
